The warm and friendly Jansen family from Zaandam Netherlands (with handy parents Ray and Margriet) have purchased an ancient château, Saint Georges, dating back to 1788, and are transforming it into a chambre d’hôtes and gîtes. With a budget of €100,000, the château is located in the village of Marcigny. After a year of hard work and determination, they have managed to launch the bed & breakfast.
We admire this brave couple and their five daughters. No matter what happens, they stay calm, adapt, and carry on without visible stress or conflicts. The first satisfied guests confirm that their dream is achievable. Much respect for their perseverance and willpower to make their vision a reality. Since August 2021, they have worked non-stop, seven days a week, creating something truly beautiful. Well done!
